Aimee Harrison was born to entertain. From 8 years old and through her teenage years, she was a performer.
Born with cataracts, meaning she was visually impaired, and told she would never drive, Aimee was overcoming challenges from the moment she was born. School life was a challenge, classroom work was tough and the teachers didn’t understand how to deal with Aimee. There was one area though, that Aimee excelled in - performing arts. She was able to hear rhythms, feel beats and sounds and loved to be on stage! Attending tap, Acro and theatre classes, at a young age, Aimee began to uncover her passion.
Landing her first job at Disneyland Paris, playing multiple characters and taking part in the parades, Aimee focused her performing on entertaining and educating children, whilst also performing as an Irish dancer and Circus Acrobat. After leaving the performing arts world in 2016, Aimee has continued to work with children, teaching music & movement classes in nurseries, circus skills in primary schools, and officially started her first children’s entertainment business ‘Aimee’s Princess Parties’, offering The Snow Queen appearances and parties.
Fast forward to early 2020, Aimee’s Princess Parties was growing strength to strength, adding in more and more characters, building a team of talented entertainers and securing contracts with multiple businesses. Therefore, Aimee made the decision to change the name of her business, and Little Kingdom Entertainment was born. Come March, the pandemic restrictions meant the closure of all schools. Aimee focused her energy on her children's entertainment business, with a mission to bring joy to children in their homes. Working around restrictions, the Little Kingdom Entertainment team delivered Zoom parties, video story time, Makaton and arts and crafts sessions, princess and superhero doorstep visits and an outdoor cinema service. When restrictions eased Aimee set about putting together fantastic events for children's parties. Whether in their home or at a party venue, the team have created magical memories for 100’s of children across Leicestershire & Warwickshire. With a rapidly expanding team, and more and more characters adding to the portfolio, Aimee's passion for performing and creating children's smiles is driving Little Kingdom Entertainment to become the biggest children's entertainment company in the UK.
When Aimee is isn't helping create magical parties, you will find her spending time with her friends and family, fiance, and two wonderful daughters.
